LONDON
2007 - just a few weeks between going away to India and Barcelona,
and coming back to London - to finish "Cinema" and
"Tower" paintings and to pack boxes for our move to
the island.

PAINTINGS from "Cinema" series. i painted imaginary
places, or what i didn't paint before.
“Morocco”. never been there. I see it red.
“Jungle”. looking back i like jungle and i'd like
to paint in jungle someday, but i never painted in green before
and it's helping to see my red in a different way.
"Steppe" - i painted it years and years and at this
stage it became imaginary place rather than real.
"Sea" - sepia on blue - the premonition of paintings
which will come or may be not going to come when i'm painting
on the island surrounded by the real sea.
